Breath & Sound Vibration Meditation

Please join Gretchen Bickert and Eric Rehnke for a juicy combination of Sound and Breath! Eric will lead participants in a guided practice of breathwork, while the vibrations of sound will assist with your ability to go deep. On their own, these two modalities each provide powerful opportunities for relaxation, healing, release of held emotion and movement of energy. Together they create a potent combination of WOW.!

During this class Eric will introduce you to a powerful breath technique, and explain why it is so potent, and then we will dive right in. The guided breathwork will be accompanied by gongs, singing bowls, and other instruments, providing a framework for a deep meditation. You will breathe deep, let go, and surrender.

This is appropriate for all levels, no prior experience is necessary. Please bring a yoga mat or blanket to lie on and an eye mask or scarf to allow your journey to be internal - make sure you will be comfy! Cost: 20.00. No one turned away for lack of funds - so please reach out if you need any assistance!

Homeless Outreach - Serving Vegan Food

Homeless Outreach - Serving Vegan Food

Hosted by Benjamin Benulis, Jessica Smothermon and Jessica Burke

We'll be meeting at Hance Park in downtown Phoenix to enjoy a vegan picnic and distribute hygiene essentials to houseless friends.

How you can help:
-Show up! We need hands to help distribute food and hygiene products
-Bring vegan food and/or new or gently worn clothing items, shoes etc. more details of what's needed below
-Security. It would be good to have 1 or 2 people in charge of security just in case de-escalation needs to happen (it rarely does).
-Healers: if you are healing arts practitioner: massage, reiki, etc. please bring your table and any other essentials needed.

What You Can Bring:
-Freshly prepared vegan food OR packaged vegan food. Fresh fruits especially soft fruits like bananas, watermelon.
-ICE is a huge commodity for homeless in the summer and still needed.
-Bottled Water, preferably cold or even frozen waters. (Yes I know, plastic is bad, but it's the only reasonable way to distribute it to the homeless)
-New or gently worn clothes and shoes.
-Soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, underwear, feminine hygiene products.
-Basic first aid supplies like antibacterial ointments for cuts, band-Aids, and Advil/ibuprofen.

Warning: If you have not done homeless outreach before please understand that many of these people suffer from severe mental health problems. They can be disrespectful, belligerent, ungrateful, loud, obnoxious, curse at you, etc. This is disturbing to many people, if this makes you uncomfortable it may be best to drop off donations and not stick around for distribution. Hopefully we don’t have to deal with the police but if they do come to check on us please refer them to Jessica Burke.

Recovering from Autoimmune Disease

Hosted by Dr. Benjamin Benulis, DC

Autoimmune diseases like Lupus, Ulcerative Colitis, Multiple Sclerosis and Sjoegren's disease have seen an exponential increase in the past 20 years. Why is this happening? And why does modern medicine have such difficulty treating them? Is there a way to treat them without side effects? Is there a cure?

Dr. Benjamin Benulis has been studying autoimmune disease for over 9 years, when he first came down with a condition doctors could not diagnose or successfully treat. After doing his own research he realized he had a rare autoimmune disease called Chronic Myalgic Encephaopathy which he was able to completely reverse through a combination of alternative methods.

In this talk he distills down all his knowledge of the past 9 years, healing himself and others who face similar challenges.

Reiki Kids on Kindness/Love

Hosted by Desert Vibes, Energy by Bekah and Soul Center at 420 Mahoney

Hey Everyone

Reiki Kids.
So this is the first series. It will I am sure transform as we go but to start I am gearing towards 5 to 9/10yr old kids. This does not mean that if you have a younger or older child that you think would benefit can't attend. It just means this is my starting point. We will adjust as we go. I want to keep the heart and soul of Community! If we need to adjust younger we can, if we need to adjust older thats fine too and if we have a mix we will find middle ground and balance.
